Hilda is a 19-year-old from the Rakai district of Uganda. Growing up, she and her sister faced immense challenges after being abandoned by their father. Their single mother struggled to provide for their basic needs, let alone education. As Hilda’s mother grew older, maintaining their income became more difficult, eventually causing her to drop out of school.

Her dream of becoming a lawyer felt distant, but she did not lose hope. Hilda learned about Ravens Ministries through her cousin. She believed that applying for the program was her only path to achieving her dream, understanding that education was her ticket to a brighter future. Thanks to Ravens like you, Hilda is excelling in her senior year of secondary school.
