Meet Rachael
Rachael's childhood was marked by hardship and financial struggle. At just 11 years old, she began working alongside her mother to support her family and fund her primary school education. As she started secondary school, the financial burdens intensified, leading to frequent expulsions due to unpaid school fees.
In 2017, Rachael got know about Ravens at a youth event organized by Ashraf, a former Youth Empowerment Program beneficiary. Recognizing her desperate need, she applied for support to complete her education. Ravens provided the necessary assistance in 2018, empowering Rachael to finish secondary school and pursue a degree in Hotel Management and Catering.
With Ravens' support, Rachael completed her education and graduated in 2025, gaining skills to break the cycle of poverty.
She has built a thriving online baking business, stabilizing within a year, and plans to open her own bakery shop. Rachael now fully supports herself, her family, and contributes some money toward her cousin’s school fees.
Rachael's transformation from a struggling student to a successful entrepreneur showcases the life-changing impact of Ravens' support.
