Meet Christine

Meet Christine. She graduated in 2024 with her degree in Business Administration.

Like many firstborn children in larger families, Christine spent her early life caring for her younger siblings. Her parents did their best to provide for the family, but Christine’s mother was forced to stop working when health issues arose. With expenses growing larger than their father’s part-time income, Christine dropped out of school.

Christine tried her best for nearly two years to find a job and raise enough money for tuition. But after experiencing several roadblocks due to her lack of education and qualifications, she felt stuck.

But she did not lose hope. Christine met a member of Ravens Minsitries at church who told her about the Youth Empowerment Program. She immediately applied and was accepted into the program!

Because of the support of Ravens, Christine was able to complete her education and is now employed at one of the prominent microfinance institutions in Kampala. She is grateful and eager to help her siblings who were also forced to drop out of school!
